"At home I perfected the art of quitting. My attempts at sports, school, and relationships amounted to nothing but pathetic stories because I never followed through. I did not like myself and wanted to escape the judgment of others. I gave up on everything that could have made me happy because I didn't want to work. I wanted the instant gratification of drugs. At The Family School I was able to raise my expectations for myself, and found that I can accomplish what I set out to do. I am now graduating from high school, participating in chorus and enjoying the company of my whole family. I am so grateful for all that God has done in my life."
