Angry teens in a therapeutic boarding school have lots of company. At FFS, our Anger Management group is one of the most popular student support groups on campus. One student who's been part of it for more than a year has been transformed from a hot-head to one of the most level-headed and patient young men at the school. However, he's not perfect. When he was recently ordered to follow a rule which a classmate was permitted to ignore, his temper flared over the perceived "unfair treatment." But thanks to his anger management work, he was able to calm himself down and hear the explanation: Allowances were being made for his classmate, a relative newcomer, with respect to a personal struggle the boy was going through. Hearing this, the student agreed that the treatment was not only fair, but necessary, and quickly put the whole thing behind him.
